Welcome to Our New Blog
July 31, 2007The purpose of this blog is to communicate with the people that attend our church ( and those that don’t).
We will be posting our church newsletters and bulletins. Please forgive the strange formatting in the first ones we post. Copying and pasting from Word and other word processoring programs results in strange formatting. Until we learn how to do things correcting, we ask for your indulgence.
Photographs can be posted in this type blog and we intend to do so. Several things I have learned in the past couple of days while learning how to use this blog include:
- We have 50megs of storage for uploads so files need to be as small as they can be made.
- Files directly from a digital camera are too large in two ways. The file size is too large and the format is “too large” and keeps the file from sizing properly on the posts here.
- So we need to use photo editing software to reduce file size and better format the images before they are uploaded here.
