*SONG OF PRAISE
“Victory in Jesus”  UMH #370  (vs 1,3)
Vs. 1:  I heard an old, old sto-ry, how a Sav-ior came from glo-ry, how he gave his life on Cal-va-ry to save a wretch like me; I heard a-bout his groan-ing, of his pre-cious blood’s a-ton-ing, then I re-pent-ed of my sins and won the vic-to-ry.
Refrain:  O vic-to-ry in Je-sus, my Sav-ior for-ev-er!  He sought me and bought me with his re-deem-ing blood; he loved me ere I knew him, and all my love is due him; he plunged me to vic-to-ry be-neath the cleans-ing flood.
Vs. 3:  I heard a-bout a man-sion he has built for me in glo-ry, and I heard a-bout the streets of gold be-yond the crys-tal sea; a-bout the an-gels sing-ing and the old re-demp-tion sto-ry, and some  sweet day I’ll sing up there the song of vic-to-ry.
Repeat Refrain
*WORDS OF PRAISE                                   Delbert Dearing

Ash Wednesday Service

February 12, 2008

For those who were not able to come to the Ash Wednesday Service, this was truely a powerful service and so inspiring. Kenny Stephens was at his best at the organ, as he usually is, and the message given by Horace was very meaningful. I am thinking we should start taping the entire services for our shut -ins and those who would like to purchase the tapes- here is something to think about for the Youth Fund. Lorraine Cooke

Changes on Youth Trip

August 2, 2007

The trip to Schlitterbahn by the youth has been postponed from Friday Aug 3rd until Sat Aug 11th tentatively. Keep watching this spot for any changes. Schlitterbahn was closed earlier this week due to high water in the river from recent rain. More rain was expected through the weekend of the third.
